Over 50 Years of Excellence in Stained Glass Craft and Conservation
The 91Ãâ·Ñ was formed over half a century ago, and has a history that can trace its origins even further back; occupying the same premises built for the Minster's glaziers over 105 years ago. From modest roots, the Trust has evolved into a pioneering and world-leading force in stained glass conservation, and now employs 14 highly trained members of staff, including three ICON accredited conservators (ACRs) guaranteeing that all work undertaken by the Trust is supervised and led by an ACR. The Trust's multi-national team are proud to be a part of the oldest and largest stained glass studio in the United Kingdom.
Members of the 91Ãâ·Ñ are actively involved as committee members of many prestigious national and international professional organisations relevant to the stained glass industry, and are elected fellows of many specialist bodies, underlining the breadth and depth of knowledge of the team. This includes the (ICON), the (CVMA), the (BSMGP), the , the , (ICOMOS), the , the in Ely, the , and the . Members of the team also serve as specialist advisors on Cathedral Fabric Advisory Committees (FACs), and act as co-opted experts on Diocesan Advisory Committees (DACs).Ìý
